Work done by a constant force

The work W done by a constant force on an object is
the product of the magnitude of the displacement
and the component of the force parallel to the displacement.

W = F// d

W = Fd cos (theta)

vector F = the constant force

d = the magnitude of the displacement of the object

In S.I unit, 1 Nm = 1 J

Work Done is a scalar quantity.
